Day 25 - forth day in Sydney
Today has been a really good day. I thought it was going to rain, but i was happy surprised.
We started the day with going to the garden of friendship. It was a really beautiful garden with waterfalls, trees and mountains. A place you can go and get some peace and quiet.
After we decided to walk on the harbour bridge, but first we went to the rocks market again. Really like that market!
We didnt do the climb on the bridge but you could go up in one of the towers. When we were going to pay a lady came up to me and just gave me a ticket to go up, as did another lady to Megan. I was so surprised and happy, said thank you at least 10 times.
The view was amazing. You could see all of Sydney and I also saw the ship that we went on a couple of days ago.
After we went on our second free tour. This one was about the rocks and stories about murdermystery and hangings.
The storie about the hanging was that the people that lived in Sydney really liked watching the hangings. The police tried to hide the hanging behind the policestation. But it was one place in the rocks that people could see over the policestation. The people really liked stuff like that! One man was murdad and cooked in the fire because the servent that murded him thought he would just disapere. But when that didnt work he packed him up and took him to a ship and asked the captain to throw it in the ocean. He thought it was odd so he contacted the police. The police hung the servent but the man who was murded was saved as a turistattraction for people to see : ( They really liked to see a cooked man.
Another storie was at the Waterloo pub. At the 18 century the pub said that all the alcohol was for free. People drank so much that they couldnt stand up and then under them they fell into a trappdoor under them. They had no Idea what was going on and fell asleep with a drink in their hand. The next morning they woke up with a hangover and on a ship. They had to slavework on that ship after that. People think they had tunnels under the pub that lead to the harbour, but others think they just put them on a carriage and took them to the harbour.
After the tour we went to Megans parents place to sleep. Early day tomorow!!! Its Anzac day! Tell more about it tomorow.
